AT&T Quickfire Texting Phone Suspended

I've read an interesting bit of info on the AT&T Quickfire texting phone. According to the folks at Engadget, AT&T has decided to stop selling the AT&T Quickfire texting phone because it failed to meet the carriers minimum performance expectations. But before we get to the meat of the story let's look at some info on this phone including some AT&T Quickfire phone reviews.

The AT&T Quickfire is a messaging phone that was expected to rival the popular T-Mobile Sidekicks. The AT&T Quickfire texting phone sports a similar design with the Sidekick and is targeted towards young users. However, AT&T Quickfire phone reviews show that this phone will not equal any of the Sidekick handsets.

The AT&T Quickfire texting phone offers the features you expect from a message centric device. It sports a 2.8-inch QVGA touch screen display and a full QWERTY keypad for heavy email and text messaging. Other features for the AT&T Quickfire texting phone include a basic camera, Bluetooth 2.0, 3G HSDPA data, GPS, music player and radio. Now let's proceed with the AT&T Quickfire phone reviews

AT&T Quickfire phone reviews generally have little good to say about this suspended handset. The authors of some of these critical AT&T Quickfire phone reviews were even surprised that the phone lasted this long. AT&T Quickfire users were also largely dissatisfied with the phones performance.

With aweful AT&T Quickfire phone reviews, there's no surprise that AT&T decided to pull the plug on this device. The sales reps have been asked to pull all three colors of the AT&T Quickfire texting phone from sale immediately. It's not known if the suspension is temporary or permanent.
