A Look at the New T-Mobile G1 Android Phone

The stable mobile phone scene was rocked once again with the arrival of the T-Mobile G1, the first ever mobile device to run on the Google Android. Subscribers can get the device on October 22 for $179 with a two-year voice and data agreement. Let's become familiar with this new mobile phones.

The Google phone has been the subject of countless rumors and discussions in the last several months. There were even some speculation that delays may force T-Mobile and HTC to launch the device in 2009. Fortunately for Android fans, the device was completed well before the end of the year.

The T-Mobile G1 is a feature packed smartphone that features a large touchscreen display, a trackball, and a hidden full QWERTY text keyboard. Here are some of the features offered by this Android based mobile phone:

Will this device topple the iPhone? Well, it may appeal to a different market. Some fashion conscious users may find it too bulky. However, this is just the first Android phone so stylish Android based devices may be released in the future. Nevertheless, the T-Mobile G1 is a major handset that will make waves in the mobile phone industry.

The New HTC Touch HD

Here's someting new for HTC and smartphone fans. We have HD TV and now we will l also have high definition experience in our mobile phones. Let's all welcome the HTC Touch HD.


Surprisingly, the HTC Touch HD appeared at the HTC's Web site even though it was unannounced. This means that the availability and pricing for this device is still unknown. There was no press release on this device but that did not prevent news about this new smartphone from spreading rapidly on the web.

This new touchscreen smartphone promises to take the viewing music videos, films and streaming on a handset to a whole new level. This whole new experience will be powered by the 3.8-inch wide, WVGA (480 X 800 pixel) display and touch-responsive TouchFLOTM 3D technology offerd by the HTC Touch HD.

HTC"s newest device runs on Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional and has quad-band GSM/EDGE radios. It will also have 900/2100 7.2Mbps HSDPA and an 1350 mAh battery that is excpected to offer 390 minutes of 3G talk and 450 ours of 3G standby.

This new HTC Touch also brings new thiongs to the table other than HD mobile experience. The HTC Touch HD also features Google Map which will allow users to find their intended destination and other locations. Now combine Google maps with the HD features and large display offered by this new smartphone and you get a whole new navigation experience.

Since this device is a smartphone, it's also ideal for business users. HTC Touch HD offers a Stock tab that was designed to help business users. This feature offers information on the of the latest stock quotes. A single finger finger-stroke will also give users access to e-mail, messages and calendar when they are on the connected Home screen.
